Iskue Licensing
Licence keys for your Iskue server
Iskue runs on your own infrastructure. A licence key tells your server which edition and how many seats it is licensed for — verified offline, nothing ever phones home. Start with a free 30-day Enterprise trial, then buy the edition you need.
What a licence key is
A short signed text string, issued for your organisation. Your server checks the signature locally against a public key; no internet access is needed and no usage data leaves your network.
Organisation, edition, seats, expiry
That is all the key contains. Seats are active user accounts on your instance; the edition unlocks features (Standard, Professional, Enterprise); the expiry date ends the term.
Verified offline
Keys are Ed25519-signed. Iskue verifies them with a built-in public key, so an air-gapped server works exactly like a connected one.
Never locks your data
After expiry there is a 14-day grace period, then the instance turns read-only until a new key is installed. Your data is never touched.
Installing the key in Iskue
- Sign in to your Iskue instance as an administrator and open Administration → Licensing.
- Paste the key from your account (or the email) and save. The edition and seat count apply immediately.
- Automating?
POST /api/v1/admin/licensewith{"key": "…"}as an admin does the same.
A new key replaces the old one: renewing, upgrading or moving from the trial to a paid licence is the same paste.
Trial, then licence
1. Free trial
Register, confirm your email, and start a 30-day Enterprise trial for up to 100 seats. The key is issued instantly — one trial per organisation.
2. Buy a licence
Pick an edition and seat count on the pricing page. Pay by card, or request a quote and pay by invoice. The key lands in your account and inbox.
3. Manage from one account
Every key, its expiry, invoices and renewals in your account. Renew early and the new term starts where the old one ends.
